Deborah Bird

Deborah Bird MA is a professional artist and designer working in mixed media. Location based sketches and photography in the Wreake Valley form the basis of watercolour paintings produced weekly in her garden studio. Her studio practice also includes an ongoing portfolio of abstract paintings and silk scarves.

Deborah, who is a member of Leicester Society of Artists, has exhibited in the UK and the US. International residencies include Grand Canyon National Park (2012) and Crater Lake National Park, Oregon (2014). Local Public Art commissions include J Sainburys, Melton Mowbray.
