I started my journey with glass about 6 years ago and first learnt how to make stained glass windows.

I subsequently produced some mosaic pieces using small shapes of glass and tried my hand at blown glass.

Eventually I tried fused glass, which is a process where glass is placed in a kiln and heated to around 800 degrees centigrade. At this point the glass melts and can be fused with other pieces of glass to make beautiful objects and pictures.

I show my work infrequently, usually at crafts shows in and around Rutland, often together with my wife Sandy Wood who makes and sells Silver Clay jewellery and necklaces which sometimes incorporate my glass in their design
