Ingrid Hunter
She has worked in ceramics for nearly 25 years and makes a diverse range of work inspired by the art world and her travels abroad. Over the past 10 years, with Ingrid’s pottery skills, she has followed a new path – working in glass - casting it in her kiln. Cast glass is an ancient and complicated technique involving model making, lost wax and hand polishing (known as cold working). She is able to create very intricate, complex and unique pieces.
She welcomes commissions in both Glass & Ceramics.
Her studio is open to visitors by appointment.
