Josette Carroll

Josette enjoys working with mixed media. Her work tends to be eclectic, incorporating a broad variety of processes and styles.

She finds the relationship between texture, form and colour fascinating. The direction of her work is usually determined by intuition rather than rationale.

Often the chance discovery of some random object may provide inspiration for a future artwork. In some cases she has preconceived ideas of what she wants to create and at other times she just enjoys the challenge of a blank canvas.

After retiring from her post as the Principal of the Dyslexia Institute in Peterborough, Josette continued her love of art by gaining a BA (Hons) Fine Arts Degree at Stamford College which was then affiliated with Lincoln University.
